Just received my copy of this and noticed the cover art print quality in very very low. Nothing compared to the images I have seen here or anywhere else. Is there anyone else noticed this or is it just my copy? For example the text on the cover looks a bit blurry. Nothing like any LLL boxet I have on my shelf.

I had kinda forgotten about it but I remember thinking the same as well when my copy arrived. I wouldn't necessarily say it looks blurry but definitely a bit flat.

I think it's generally

the colors are also a bit off on mine Spidey and Tomorrow Never Dies - it's like the grey title color has been darkened a bit

the colors of the covers are not as strong and vibrant as the music on the CD's are big grin

I think it's an issue of printing at the site they make the inlay covers - maybe some low printing machines or something

Probably just temporarily out of stock. There's no way they sold all of those units already.

On April 27th it said "Temporarily out of Stock", now the page is gone. Perhaps it will be available again soon?

I do have that set, though I have not yet listened to it. It's still waiting sealed in the shelf for me to unwrap it. (Just didn't get around to it yet.)

Second: Sometimes "album" presentations include special edits, arrangements, and different takes of cues.

I want to get back to this point -- some releases have had the full album included, but also included as separate tracks the 'unique album versions in addition to it (Return to Oz comes to mind there). I just find it all very silly.....
But in general I look at music from an individual perspective, not as a whole, if that makes any sense? Like, sure maybe the original album was a 'great presentation', but there's a never a time where I'd even be listening to a redone full score release and thought "damn, I wish this was put together in the order of the original album" (even stuff like Jurassic Park or whatever else that were among my first score albums).

Well, there actually some cases where a score is released in full where I also listen to the original album (because of edits, flow, etc), for example, I do listen to the album versions of BOYS FROM BRAZIL, E.T. - THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL or TWILIGHT ZONE - THE MOVIE because they were excellent albums that provide a different and also valid listening experience from the full score release.

There are other examples, where I do not turn to the original albums anymore, even though they are included, like STAR TREK - THE MOTION PICTURE or ALIEN, because the full score representation is simply a much better listening experience, but I see no reason to bemoan their inclusion on a CD release.

Sometimes, it's even great to have the original album presentation as an introductory listening. Like I love the 4CD set of SLEEPY HOLLOW, even though the only thing I have actually listened to so far is the original album (which I didn't have before). One day, I will listen to the expanded score, and then perhaps to the alternates.

Page still not up, what is going on with this release? Previous out of stock items were listed, never removed from LLL website. Any updates would be welcome.

Chill, dudes. It's just out of stock. We should have more in June. You guys get your panties in a twist over the oddest things. 90% of the time when a title goes out of stock the store automatically takes the page down and our webmaster has to manually put it back up. He was on vacation.
