I just recently bought this. For some reason i'd put it off, despite liking the original CD and wanting more. I'd forgotten how great it was and the themes have been stuck in my head for a week. There's so much in this that i'd forgotten or not noticed in the film. It's brilliant and sends me off on a Goldenthal-binge, listening to the even more fantastically bombastic Final Fantasy and then Interview With The Vampire.
Final Fantasy definitely needs the "complete score" treatment. I'd even be as bold to say it's one of the most underrated sci-fi scores ever written. It's amazing.
