Stray obervations:

-- so far, the only season from which a track hasn't been revealed is season 7.
-- I wonder how tracks from CD 3 will be devoted to the Post-Modern Prometheus (5X04)

The Amazing Meleeni?

Closure?

My only hope is to find the final theme of "The Sixth Extinction II: Amor Fati" (7x02), when Mulder dreams himself child and the UFO on the beach... please tell me that I'll find it! frown

Not the most memorable stand-alone, but Rush had some great, distinctive music.

Artwork approval was not an issue... it was getting the 4 discs packed with the absolute best material as we could. This is Mr. Snow's baby... his STAR WARS if you will. He, more than any one else, has been wanting to get this out there from the get-go. He wanted to ensure that the best material and the best listening experience was created, but at the same time designing it in such a fashion that us geeks would enjoy as well. It took a lot of finessing... tracks got cut, whole episodes swapped out... thus the reason for the delay

MV

MV,

I cannot wait for this set. One of my most-anticipated releases EVER - alongside the excellent FSM Superman and Ron Jones sets and your own Batman/Batman Returns and Home Alone releases. The wait is killing me!

Thank you for all the time/effort you have put into this.

My only complaint is that I don't have access to your hard drives! wink

DISC 3

TRIANGLE
TRACK 7 -- QUEEN OF SWATH 8:50

Nice! Now let the speculation begin: is this the track that spans the majority of Act 2, when Scully races throughout the FBI building to help Mulder? Or is it the climactic music incorporating parts of Sing Sing Sing (With a Swing)? It could be either, given the track length.

I'm fairly certain it's "Scully races throughout the FBI building" scene..

it's a great piece IMHO.

Speaking for myself...
including eps like 'Release" & "All Things" makes me uneasy

why?

There are so many episodes represented on these 4 discs that even if a few of them aren't to your liking, you will surely like the rest.

MV - is the shipping charge likely to be similar to the MOH boxset?

as am i. the lack of response to paper hearts unnerves me a lot. that is, hands down, my holy grail here. i don't think snow got an emmy nomination in season 3 and this was nominated in season 4. so it seems unconceivable to me that disc 2 would overlook it and its pedigree, but as we get closer it is starting to worry me. of course we only know 2 tracks on disc 2 so far i believe, so still plenty of room. i'll try to remind myself of that.

Knowing there is going to be a second volume, I won't be upset about any fav episodes missing. We knew from the start this was going to be a 4 disc set and as it covers nine seasons, it would be impossible to please everyone from the get go.

I will however start an aggressive mailing campaign if they are left off big grin

Looks like season five is the season that was whittled down the most, because there's only one track between track 5 of Disc 3 (a track from Emily, episode 6 of season 5) and track 7 (a track from Triangle, episode 3 of season six.)
