A 1976 short-lived series that starred Harold Gould and Stephanie Powers, with some ensemble cast. I decided to give the scoring a whirl since I knew his name and out of all the years I have been looking for episodes so I could solve the composer on all episodes for IMDb, suddenly a week or so ago ALL of them popped up, so I decided I better do it now. TIME NOTICE: IF you are intending to check out the scoring, please hurry up. The channel is foolish enough to be uploading episodes of "Police Woman" and any time a channel uploads multiple episodes, a few weeks later the channel is deleted. SEASON 1:

And after the commercial break. 33:26 in. 34:46 in. 40:26 in. 42:40 in. 44:40 in. 45:42 in. 1:00 in: What's the name of that classical piece playing? (I'm assuming it's classical music) "Never mind the power of a woman. With home-made cheese cake." Harry: "It was just a little theft." Feather: "Little?" Harry: "Yeah, Enzo did it." And that's all the episodes. No TV movies or revival attempts. I'm surprised it didn't last longer. A lot of times you watch a failed series and you understand why it was cancelled, however, this was engaging, well enough written, and the cast all did very well. Often I watched and it seemed obvious to me some real effort was put into the characters. While Romanis' name has come up in other TV series I have covered, and I have had nice things to say about his work, many times I have found his work to be kind of a miss, however, on this, it appears not only providing his own theme and scoring all the episodes really allowed him to flourish. If one were to do a overview of his scoring (no, there's not enough up for me to do a George Romanis Odyssey thread), surely this would have to be amongst his best work, top five material. I think a 2CD set should do it and leave room for any surprises. Some score is tracked throughout the episodes and I suspect not everything was tailored made to scenes, that he creates a library of cues to be used as needed. Will very many people listen to the scoring I have cited? Not likely, based on the thread hit count thus far. Wil very many people buy this wonderful scoring? Doesn't seem likely. Sad. I still have made suites for all the episodes though. I rushed into it, thinking the channel the episodes are loaded onto to, will suffer the curse of deletion for having too many "Police Woman" episodes loaded.
