SEASON 1:
Fulfilling a fan request. Please Note: Dailymotion will not work in Internet Explorer. You'll have to use something like Edge or Firefox. Attention readers: I am implementing a new system that is nothing more than a note to myself; for cues that I want to include in a suite, for now on I will denote them with ^ symbol. It has no special meaning to anyone else but myself. No, the lack of an up arrow symbol doesn't mean the cue is bad (it just may have too much SFX or FX for suite use or just isn't worth my time to edit and include). Hence forth this system will be in all future threads and pre-exiting threads that I go back to for missed episodes. Anything in ( ) are just notes to the arrow and you need not bother with that. "Starr Knight" (first pilot) By: Johnny Harris ("Music Composed & Performed by") https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6r40 Highlights: 10:36 in. 21:28 in. 37:07 in. Terrible dated cheesy synth score that is -- quite frankly -- not worth your time hearing. And the pilot is rather bad, too. Aired as the final episode of the series, but I am putting it back where it belongs for my thread. "Jackal" (second pilot) Music by: Mike Post and Pete Carpenter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdyzQf8Zats This is the only effort by the two for the series. Highlights: 1:08 in.^ 4:26 in.^ 10:28 in.^ 11:45 in. 16:34 in.^(16:50) 19:53 in. 33:23 in. 35:47 in. 42:00 in. Joining a cue already in progress.^ 46:30 in.^ Standard-fare effort. They were clearly not as inspired by this as they were "Greatest American Hero". Well, at least the second pilot used an orchestra. I could take or leave the score. (Note to Me: 29:38) "Accused" By: Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6r4e Highlights: 2:03 in.^ 31:40 in. 40:24 in. There's nothing here that particularly needs to be released. "Daredevil" By: Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6r4m Highlights: 2:00 in.^ 13:42 in. 25:38 in.^ 33:06 in. 34:38 in.^ 38:31 in. 40:19 in. 44:44 in.^ I could take or leave some of the cues.

Continuing SEASON 1:
"Genius" By: Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6r4n Highlights: 2:00 in.^ About 5:25 in. 8:07 in.* 14:24 in. And the cue after the commercial break.^(second: 15:25) 16:56 in.^ 19:08 in.^ 21:41 in. 31:23 in. Sudden romantic string work -- totally unexpected from the two.^ 33:50 in. 35:48 in. 42:59 in. Trying to ape the Post/Carpenter approach. Well, some of this would be good for a CD release. (NtM: 37:35) * = Quint: "Hoopa -- stop playing with yourself!" "Prediction" By: Charles Albertine https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6r4w This is presumably Alberstine's only effort for the series. Highlights: 3:41 in. 6:19 in. 13:40 in. 15:34 in. 19:28 in. 25:01 in.^ 26:28 in. Including a Rosenman tone pyramid. 33:03 in. 36:22 in. 39:25 in.^ 41:55 in. 43:19 in.^ Some of this might be good for CD release, too. I don't know if they simply allowed him to have a budget for a real orchestra or if other composers made the choice to use synths. So, this series that has an opening credits talking about assassins all the time, has so far dealt with: a girl and her explosive paint, a low-budget movie and a dangerous stunt, a girl with temporary psychic powers, false arrest ... so boring. And what was Harve Bennett thinking producing on this crap? The IMDb Trivia page states he did little, instead focusing on "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan". And still non of those dangerous assassins this episode. Out-of-context quote... Becky: "Oh, its coming again..." "The Italian Caper" By: Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6r4x Highlights: 7:10 in. 13:42 in.^ 14:57 in.^ 26:28 in.^ 40:59 in. Nope, none of those constant dangerous assassins in this episode either. Instead the baddies are mildly inept Italians trying to get the future Segway. Out-of-context quote... "A most impressive package." "Winning" By: Tim Simonec https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rba Highlights: 2:00 in.^ 4:22 in. 12:17 in. 29:12 in. 32:44 in.^ 37:08 in. 40:09 in. 41:29 in.^(closing) 44:44 in.^ Nope, still none of those "enemy assassins constantly come to destroy us" to be seen. Instead, football drama and teenage angst.

Continuing SEASON 1:
"Endurance" (A.K.A.: "Survival") By: Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rbb Highlights: 1:57 in.^ 5:10 in. 16:15 in. About 17:00 in is when it gets good for a kind of feel-good arrangement of the series' main theme. 21:15 in. 24:45 in.^(26:22) 28:42 in. 35:52 in.^ 38:50 in. 40:41 in.^ 42:50 in.^ 44:28 in. Yeah, best episode score so far. For the guys here: 40:29 in. Yeah, if it wasn't for her and another girl in their tight clothing, there'd be nothing worth watching in this episode. Well, still none of those constant dangerous assassins as mentioned in the opening credits. Nope, just retards and a crooked cop. "The Triangle" By: Tim Simonec https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rbi This is presumably the final effort by Simonec for the series. Highlights: 1:57 in.^ 12:26 in. 13:24 in. 14:16 in. 17:00 in. 19:33 in.^ 22:02 in.^ 25:25 in. And the cue after the commercial break.^(both) 31:00 in.^ 32:03 in. And the cue after the commercial break.^(second) 34:44 in. 36:31 in. 37:49 in. 39:46 in. 41:25 in. And the cue after the commercial break.. Nope, this is now the best score of the series. This one should be released. Guest-starring both Julie Newmar and Joan Crawford. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: a big fat ZERO. "Mother" By: Michael Rubini and Dany Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rbj NEW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk1gvsNjGtI Highlights: 9:30 in. 27:40 in.^ 30:34 in. 36:55 in.^ 38:05 in. 39:27 in. 43:50 in. Every load I have been able to find over the years, has the end credits cut off, so I have no idea who scored it. Based on the orchestral nature of the score and the writing quality, I'd says this is not a Rubini/Jaeger effort, but I'm also not sure it's a Simonec effort. That either leaves Albertine again or some one-off composer I don't know about yet. ASCAP and BMI don't list any composers not already known (not counting a Post/Carpenter helper). "This is not the first time we have encountered assassins." It is in the series! Nearly half-way in and we finally get some of those constantly attacking deadly assassins we hear about in the opening. And they suck! "Experiment" By: Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rbu Highlights: 2:01 in.^ 14:26 in. 24:49 in. 28:39 in.^ 39:15 in. And the cue after the commercial break.^(both) 42:30 in. "Hamsters are aliens from outer space". Yup, soon to be the next Sci-Fi channel TV movie. Zero enemy assassins.

Continuing SEASON 1:
"Fugitives" By: Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rbw This is the final effort by the two for the series. Highlights: 2:00 in. 13:34 in. 21:46 in. And the cue after the commercial break.^(both) 37:07 in. "Matthew Star: D.O.A." By: Johnny Harris https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rc9 Highlights: 1:53 in.^ in. in. in. in. in. in. in. in. in. I am unable to finish this episode. Somewhere about 4:00 minutes in, the video errors and refuses to keep playing. "The Racer's Edge" By: Robert Prince https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rca Highlights: 1:53 in.^ 8:11 in.^ 14:21 in. 17:15 in.^ 19:57 in.^ 21:27 in.^(23:30) 34:07 in. 36:20 in. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO. "Dead Man's Hand" By: Johnny Harris ("Music Composed & Performed by") https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rck Highlights: 1:51 in. 25:34 in. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO.

Continuing SEASON 1:
"Thirty-Six Hours" By: Johnny Harris ("Music Composed & Performed by") https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rcl Highlights: 3:22 in. 8:53 in.^ 10:41 in. And the cue after the commercial break.^ 28:32 in. 39:22 in. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO. "The Quadrian Caper" By: Johnny Harris ("Music Composed & Performed by") https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rcz Highlights: 1:55 in. 3:52 in. 14:52 in. 15:43 in. 20:48 in.^ 25:18 in.^ 31:22 in.^ 37:51 in. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO. "Brain Drain" By: Robert Prince https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rd0 https://ok.ru/video/8316716452493 This is the final effort by Prince for the series. Highlights: 1:50 in.^ 13:31 in.^ 21:50 in. Including one water chime hit. The water chime also makes another appearance in a cue not cited. 24:56 in. 35:54 in.^ 38:16 in.^ 44:26 in. It's a shame -- after a score like this -- that this is the final one from him. He should have been asked to take over from Harris. By pure coincidence, all those cues with up arrows, are awesome. (NtM: 6:22) End credits are now in yellow. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO.

Finishing SEASON 1:
"The Great Waldo Shepard" By: Johnny Harris ("Music Composed & Performed by") https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rd8 Highlights: 37:05 in. Cheap weak synth score. On a set of scoring from the show, I'd skip this episode score. 17:50 in: fighter jet porn. And now the end credits are in white again. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO. "Road Rebels" By: Johnny Harris ("Music Composed & Performed by") https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rdb Highlights: 1:49 in.^ 10:01 in. 16:40 in. 17:55 in. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO. "Swords and Quests" (series finale) By: Johnny Harris ("Music Composed & Performed by") https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rdj https://ok.ru/video/8066749041293 Highlights: Nothing. Cheap weak synth score. On a set of scoring from the show, I'd skip this episode score. Total number of those pesky constant assassins in this episode: ZERO.

"Matthew Star: D.O.A." By: Johnny Harris https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5x6rc9 The opening theme changed with this episode. This is the (extraordinarily cheesy) version I remember. Funny though, I thought the opening narration was also on this, but I guess not. I must have made my own edited mix back when this series was run on the Sci-Fi Channel.

ADDITIONAL, UNCREDITED, STOCK MUSIC COMPOSERS:
Culled from ASCAP and BMI. In no special order: Frank Denson. (listed with Post/Carpenter; he worked with them on a number of TV series) Clarence Carpenter. ASCAP shows Jaeger/Rubini for the series theme, but as far as I know, that was a Johnny Harris composition, especially cnsidering he started the series and the theme was there. I think the updated more cool-ified arrangement is probably what the two did. There has of course been no release of the show's scoring. Other Threads I Have Created or Commented in About TV Scores:

I finally found a new load of the episode "Mother" that has the end credits, so now I have finally solved who scored it: Michael Rubini and Dany Jaeger That now completes the composer credits for the show.

Noooo, I must have just grabbed the theme from the pilot back then. It's got the Lou Gosset intro and the shorter theme. God what a lousy show this is...
